Save the Date: 2024 Annual Convention

The 2024 Community College League of California Annual Convention will be held Nov. 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency SFO in Burlingame. This year’s theme is “Lead Beyond Limits: A Focus on Innovation and Excellence.” California’s great diversity—economies, environment, and cultures—fosters a wide range of ideas and solutions. In context with their communities, each of our community colleges addresses the localized needs and values through education.

Save the dates for the Annual Convention and adjacent professional development programming. Registration opens the week of August 19.

Policy & Procedure Workshop, Nov. 21, 8 a.m. — 12 p.m.

Leaders from California community college districts that subscribe to the Policy & Procedure Service are invited to attend the Fall 2024 Policy & Procedure Subscription Service Workshop.

There is no additional cost to attend the Fall 2024 Policy & Procedure Subscription Service Workshop if your district has an annual subscription to this service. Space is limited.

Fall 2024 Executive Assistants Leadership Workshop, Nov. 19 — 20

Recognizing that executive assistants are integral members of every California community college district and college leadership team’s success, this two-day workshop will provide executive assistants with critical knowledge and skills that affect the entire organization. The Fall 2024 Executive Assistants Leadership Workshop (EALW) emphasizes a variety of professional development sessions specifically benefiting executive assistants.

Registration is $475 per individual

New CEO Workshop Part 1, Thursday, Nov. 21, 9 a.m. — 2:30 p.m.

CEOs in their first two years on the job will have peer-to-peer discussions about the pressing and emerging issues at colleges and districts. This workshop is a follow-up to July’s CEO Leadership Academy and is by invitation only.

Registration is $360 per individual
