This is designed to improve the process of managing meetings, reviewing and adopting policy, and communicating transparently with constituents. This is an overview of the transition to Diligent Community, including a review of enhancements and accessibility improvements, tools for managing committees, integrated livestream capabilities, and features to simplify policy review and adoption. See how trustees can visually compare proposed policy changes, make private annotations, and simplify voting – even from any mobile device. Approaches to Providing Baccalaureate Degree at Community Colleges [G: SS]
The law around community college baccalaureate may be seen as overly narrow to serve the needs of students, particularly those in higher education deserts. Participants will learn how Allan Hancock College leveraged community support to secure a substantial commitment from CSU to provide baccalaureates. Presenters will also provide information on ideas to expand access to baccalaureate degrees through statewide activism.
