Online Nomination Form – deadline Friday, May 25

The Community College League is requesting nominations for recipients of the 2012 California Community College Distinguished Alumni Awards. These prestigious awards recognize and honor the fine men and women whose attendance at a California community college helped them achieve their educational and professional goals and serve their communities.

The League has recognized the distinguished alumni of California’s community colleges since 1964.  We invite you to add an alumnus from your college to this impressive list.

Nominees will be judged on their accomplishments in their chosen fields and for their community service. Nominees must have earned a minimum of 24 units in the community college.

The awards will be presented at the meal functions held throughout the League’s Annual Convention, November 15-17, at the historic Los Angeles Millennium Biltmore. This award celebrates excellence and is an inspiring experience for all involved. The success of the program depends on the recipients being there, and if they are selected, we ask that the sponsoring districts arrange their attendance.

To submit a nomination for the 2012 Distinguished Alumni Award, please review the criteria, complete the online nomination form by close of business on Friday, May 25.
